Salt rooms and salt caves are a recent addition to spa culture. The general working principle involves the free release of salt particles into a room covered in salt, and the people in this room breathing this air for a period of time.
Salt room sessions typically last 45 minutes. Certain areas of the room are covered with salt bricks or similar salt structures. Over time, these salts dissolve slightly and affect the air in the room, but this amount is insufficient. For this purpose, a special salt disperser device is used, and natural salt ions mix with the air inside. This allows the person in the room to breathe more comfortably.
