CLASSIC SAUNA

Misa Sauna offers tailored solutions for customers who wish to build their own sauna.

Orders for prefabricated saunas are prepared and packaged in our workshop according to the specified dimensions. The insulation, cladding, heating, ventilation, seating panels and door locking system are prepared down to the smallest detail. At this stage, all wood is cut and prepared to size, then delivered to the customer. For long-distance shipments, especially orders abroad, the packaging is made with extra quality to prevent any damage that may occur during transport.

Misa Sauna offers its customers practical solutions for prefabricated saunas. The saunas are manufactured according to the required dimensions and specifications and then delivered to the users. Depending on the order, it is possible to manufacture modular sauna cabins or prefabricated sauna materials.

The classic sauna is generally known as the Finnish sauna. It is the most common type of sauna in the world.

In traditional sauna construction, high-temperature-resistant Finnish wood is generally used for wall and ceiling cladding, but other types of wood such as Mediterranean pine, abachi, Canadian cedar or Finnish spruce can also be used.

Abachi wood from Africa is generally used for the seat and backrest panels. This wood, which has very low thermal conductivity, is the most commonly used in sauna construction. If you wish, you can also use Mediterranean pine for the seat and backrest panels.

The abachi wood used for the seats and backrests is soft in structure and can therefore be easily damaged and deformed by the pressure exerted by feet on the floor.

In saunas, all floor grates are made from Mediterranean pine slats as standard. Due to its high hardness and strong, solid structure, it is perfectly suited for use in floor grates.

Traditional Finnish saunas use wood-burning stoves and standard electric heaters. In saunas built in our country, almost all cabins are heated using electric stoves.
